Baraa Al Ali

 

With her parents and siblings, Baraa wished her two oldest brothers good-bye and made the journey from Syria and Lebanon to Canada. Hers was the second family we were privileged to meet through Welcome Project Syria in Goderich.

Baraa and her siblings quickly made a home in our hearts as their spunk and intelligence led them into the fullness of "home" and "family" in this new land. They receive a portion from the sale of every broken-plate piece, beginning with Bethany Ann's "Wave" series.

Baraa penned the poem that graces the greeting cards designed especially for her with art by Eclosion Creative. She earns money from every card sale.
