Justine Goulet
Justine Goulet completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Production from Ryerson University in 2012 and was an apprentice at Canada’s National Ballet School in the wardrobe department. She then moved to Dublin, Ireland for a year where she went on to earn a Masters in Philosophy of Performance Art from Trinity College in 2013.
Returning to her home on the shores of Lake Huron, she continued working in the theatre industry until she discovered the art of glass fusing. She is passionate when it comes to designing and realizing unique art pieces that serve as functional elements for a variety of spaces.
Justine is inspired by her surroundings - our natural world and her heritage. As a Metis woman, she looks to her elders for creative energy and incorporates indigenous influences and animals throughout her work.
Justine is the founder and primary glass artist of Lake Life Studio in Camlachie, Ontario. When she isn't there, you can find her paddle boarding on Lake Huron, walking her dog Daizy, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also a volunteer energy exchange student at Inner Dawn Yoga Studio and a volunteer coastal watcher for The Lake Huron Centre for Costal Conservation.
