Looking to throw a paint party?
It's what I do!
The first consideration is PLACE: I can travel to your venue for $0.70 per km mileage.
Everyone will need enough table space to paint and snack comfortably; they'll also need to be able to see and hear me; a nearby sink is important. Please make sure your tables are well protected before I arrive. I do not bring along food, drinks or tableware.
The second consideration is TIME: Let me know your ideal timeframe, as well as preferred canvas size, and I'll see about tracking down the materials by then. The event can be expected to last 3 hours; plus, I'll need to be there about half an hour in advance to set up and half an hour afterwards to regather my supplies.
The third consideration is SUBJECT: I'm happy to develop a local, seasonal image to paint; but if you have your own idea, show and tell me as specifically as you can!
And, of course, the RATE. My group fees are as follows, for an 8x10" piece:
3-5 participants = $80/artist ($20 deposit + $60 at the door; pre-wired canvas included)
6-10 participants = $50/artist ($15 deposit + $35 at the door)
11-15 participants = $45/artist (15 deposit + $30 at the door)
16-20 participants = $40/artist ($10 + $30)
21-25 participants = $35/artist ($10 + $25)
26-50 participants = $30/artist ($10 + $20)
Add-ons include:
Canvases with a base colour or texture already applied = $5 apiece
Pre-wired canvases ready for hanging = $5 apiece
Wiring kits to take home for hanging = $2 apiece
Sawtooth kits to take home for hanging = $1 apiece
And, if you require marketing, printed posters, graphic design, social-media posting and/or posting on my website, I'm happy to provide these services at a rate of $40 per hour.

If you'd like to host a paint event, start by figuring out how many people can show up. That will determine our rate category. Take their deposits and, as soon as the minimum number of participants for our selected rate category have paid those, e-transfer them to me (you can send any additional deposits the same way or hold onto them until I show up). Then I can get to work purchasing our materials and developing our painting project!
OR: I can host up to 12 participants at my studio in Goderich! My studio is in a warm, bright basement which is accessible via stairs with a rail. There is a washroom upstairs. A large, well-lit parking lot is next door. A selection of complimentary hot or cold drinks in mugs, teacups or break-proof, stemless goblets will be available. I even have matching saucers upon which you can serve any little snackies you happen to have! You are also welcome to bring along your own adult beverages to enjoy responsibly while we paint.
