Dandelion

When baby Gage was born into Scott and Kim's family, they were all delighted. Precious Gage has Down's Syndrome, and they couldn't wait to experience the beauty and love he would add to their lives.
 
Kim wanted to commemorate Gage's first birthday with something special. I'm so glad she thought of me! We put our hearts together and decided upon a dandelion as the subject of this painting. Soft, bright and courageous, this surprisingly health-giving flower is prized by every childlike soul. Allowed to flourish, it adds beauty and diversity while nourishing species large and small.
